Tour Description
Starting at Horcones, the park’s entrance, the trail follows the Horcones River Valley, passing through stunning geological formations and hanging glaciers with constant views of the imposing Aconcagua. You’ll cross bridges, wetlands, and high plains, spotting condors and typical Andean wildlife.
Reaching Confluencia — the first camp for summit expeditions — lets you experience the true spirit of Andean mountaineering. At over 3,300 meters above sea level, you’ll have time for lunch, rest, take photos, and soak in this unique environment surrounded by towering rock walls and Aconcagua’s mystique.
